The hotel features two restaurants: Restaurant Schlüssel, serving seasonal Alpine dishes, and Vrenelis Gärtli, a wine bar and pub with regional small plates. The Borromäus Hall seats 70 guests for communal dining. Lunch is available Wednesday to Friday, and dinner runs Tuesday to Saturday. The wine list includes Swiss and international selections, with sparkling wines starting at CHF 66.

The late Gothic building dates to 1545, with a Renaissance door lintel featuring crossed keys and lion carvings. Rooms blend minimalist design by Daniel Hunziker with art by Nina Staehli. The Borromäus Hall preserves historical details, including visits by Nobel laureate Carl Spitteler. The Zofinger-Stube honors the Swiss Zofinger Association, the hotel's long-term tenant.
